Achieving dreams, like making wine, requires patience and persistence. This is the story of Creekcut Wines. 

For California entrepreneurs Jason and Chris Lamoreaux, a life in wine was a long time coming. With nothing handed to them, they bootstrapped several successful businesses from the ground up over a period of more than 30 years. And running noisily in the background for most of those years was the dream to start their own artisanal winery—which proved easier said than done.

Circumstances of timing, opportunity and economics made them wonder if it might never happen. That is, until they alighted on a property that begged them to bet big: the future Creekcut estate in the Paso Robles Willow Creek District.

Everything they could have hoped for—soil, climate, aspect and appellational provenance—was present in these 20 acres. This is where they could follow their fascination with Rhône-style wines, putting their own stamp on a varietal category that was already proven and iconic in the Willow Creek District.

Each Creekcut wine today stands as a testament to this journey, and to the terroir that became its destination.
